Seven Hills Family Medicine does accept patients covered by Medicare and/or Medicaid, but those services cannot be used to pay for the monthly DPC membership fee. Medicare and Medicaid can be used to pay for labs, imaging, and medication.
Unfortunately, insurance severely limits the quality of care we are able to provide to patients in the primary care setting. In order to keep costs down for our members, we do not accept insurance for physician services. Some members choose to use insurance for labs, x-rays or prescription medications, but most find it is actually cheaper to pay for these directly through our discount program.
Family doctors are primary care experts and have the training to manage 85% of all health conditions. This is a surprise for most of us to learn because in the United States our profit driven system is heavily biased towards specialty care.
Dr. Arnold is able to provide preventative services across the age spectrum; examples include well child checks, STI screening, Pap smears and colorectal cancer screening. She manages chronic health conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, hypothyroidism, migraines and PCOS (to name a few). Mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD and insomnia are well within her scope of practice. She can also manage minor traumas and urgent issues like sprained ankles, simple fractures, lacerations, UTIs, respiratory infections and rashes!
No, membership is month-to-month. You can cancel at any time with 30 days notice (to ensure a safe transfer of care).
No. Insurance is generally recommended, but not at all required to be seen. All members receive the same care regardless of their insurance status. A DPC membership maximizes value when paired with a high deductible (aka “catostrauphic”) plan, as the two combined provide higher quality care at a lower annual cost than expensive lower deductible plans.
Yes! We trust our members to define their families and significant relationships for themselves, so the only requirement for a group discount with the Sustainable Membership Tier is that there is a single payer. Discounts are automatically applied at the time of enrollment: 10% off for 2-3 members, and 15% off for four or more members.

The one time enrollment fee of $100 will get charged at the time you register to join the practice. This fee is non-refundable as it reserves a new patient appointment slot and the demand for these has always exceeded our ability to provide them.
Your first monthly membership fee won't be charged until 24 hours before your first scheduled appointment, and then every 30 days after that.
